To be perfectly honest Peter - I thought that letter would help me stay in your "good graces".

Fact is I was 100% dependant on you for ANY tuning changes that the car might need - the last thing I wanted was a bad relationship with the owner of the maps that made my car run.

I will NEVER be placed in that position again ... certainly a lesson learned.

The car was fast... and fun... but too finicky for me.

Would you be pleased with a car that you spent as much as I did on - that left you stranded on the side of the road.... regardless of the reason.

Knowing your personality - I think you'd rip into someone who did that to you with everything you had.

I think I did quite well in tempering my frustrations in order to maintain a relationship and ultimately end up in a car I could enjoy.

Unfortunately - It simply became too much work and I lost interest.

Peter I honestly have no hard feelings - it was a learning experience for me. I wish you nothing but success...

I have to put in my 02 here. I know the tuners spend a great deal of time doing their job. Sometimes they may spend a substantial amount of time creating maps for certain modificatioins. I understand they do not want those maps published. Nothing wrong with that. I think it is fair to protect your investment (time), however I do think that if additional tuning needed to be done to complete the job it would be done.

I do not know Mr. Farrell but reading on this forum for a few years I can say that there is always two sides to every story. As far as your car dying, **** happens, we all know it and no matter what we do it will always be there.

Mr. Farrell runs a business and no matter how hard you try you may make a mistake or **** someone off. It happens to all business owners no matter how hard you try to do your best.

Anyway just my .02 that we should read, digest and always remember, there are two sides to each story and **** happens.
