Damn! I installed mine right on the firewall....that means I will have to move it. ****! My car will be raced at the track as well, I wonder if anyone would notice? I better go ahead and move it now, while I don't have any fuel in the lines yet, huh? Damn it!

Crap mine is in the spot where cruise control was and that isnt 6 inches from firewall....

Of course my track plans are well down the road but I cant believe I never heard of that before.

Oh and if anyone is intersted in a liquid filled gauge above I have one in perfect condition for a great price.

Thanks for the info mmonaco.

Hey tyson... do you have a strut tower bar? Mine seems to be slightly in the way... I guess I'll make it work.
Thanks,
ryker

No I don't. I imagine it might be a little tight for most of them. I'll make my own someday.

hmm. I still have the stock twins. I don't think it would be too hard to relocate the pressure tank that normally sits there, but I'm not sure if the FPR would clear the cross over pipe. Any thoughts?

Mine seems to be a tighter fit. My car being a TurboII would make the FPR really close to my fuel rails. I was trying to see about fittings to make it work but looks like I will have to bend the lines alot to make it work.

Thanks for the pictures. The more help the better

The only problem with the FPR in front of the UIM is leaking. If you leak at all you will leak on the hot engine. Better yet the fuel will pool between the LIM and the engine. I put mine where Shawnk put his, cruise control location. Mine has had several small leaks because I either did not get it tight enough from the beginning or they became loose over time. Think about it if fuel drips where is it going to go.

I made a plate and mounted it in front of the LIM as many people do. Working on gatting a nice SS one made at a local shop..

Definately right on the leaking on the engine thing... Never really thought of that. Guess I'll be EXTRA sure there are no leaks!
