Found the solution for fading RX7's

It's called Master Formulations, and this thing really works. My car was faded like **** and I tryed everything from washes to waxes. Nothing seemed to work. My trunk, sunroof and hood was faded to the point of no return. Once I used this stuff the paint look brand new I swear on it. I could now see my reflection and this thing only cost me $20 buck. 1 bottle for stripping the fade and 1 bottle for the mirror like reflections. Check them out at www.masterformulations.com. You won't regret it.

The bottle has this website printed on it. I've never been to the site, and I got the stuff from a friend. Try typing it in on top.

He said he got it at a local flee market, you know where those people have demonstrations. At first I was skeptical about using it but now since I've used it really works. If anyone wants I could pick them up some of this stuff this weekend, but you have to pay the cost of the stuff and shipping. I'm going out of my way to do this because RX7club.com has helped me alot and it's time to give back. Anyone interested post up and let me know.

It's just paint cleaner like every other company offers. The cleaner strips off a very thin layer of paint to reveal the un-oxidized layer beneath. Just waxing won't do anything about oxidation except prevent it from getting worse.

I used Meguiar's 3-step system - paint cleaner, polish, and wax years ago on my 79 RX-7. My roommates asked me if I had the car re-painted.

BTW, Meguiar's paint cleaner is like $5-$6. You got tooled.

also...invest in a 30.00 random orbital buffer. I then use this stuff in a blue and silver bottle...whats it called? Glaze and polish paint cleaner or something...basically get a paint cleaner or polish (not wax), or a light buffing compound and run the polisher. it will make your car very shiny, take all the bad paint off.
