Hey guys, I used to have a Probe GT, and everyone did this simple wiring modification to the fog lights, so they would come on with the parking lights. I know all I have to do is connect the wire that gets hot when the parking lights come on, to the switched wire that turns on the fog lights. Does anyone know which wires to use, and can that wire handle enough current to run the fogs?

I did a search, but all I found was info for having the fogs always on when the car's on, or some stuff about the cooling fan mod.

If you want to do it really easy you can just pull up your center console and splice the RED wire with a YELLOW stripe to the RED wire with a BLACK stripe. Splice the end comming off the switch. The only downfall to this is that the interior lights will dim a little, not too bad I dont mind it... once again this is why it is the easy way.

 

I just cut the wire entirely, and rewire the whole thing back to the center console. So I can turn on the fog light anytime I want
