FMIC w/engine air vs. SMIC w/fresh air

After searching ALL the related topics, I'm still in question about one thing.

With a combination such as this: M2 Air Box, STOCK IC, Koyo radiator, Efini y-pipe, ATR DP, Hi-flo Catco CAT, HKS Hiper, EFI PMS (soon to be PFC) ... and plans to run 12-13 lbs... daily driver

And this in mind:

Hmmm... A SMIC paired with a colder intake temperature, or a FMIC with a hotter intake temperature...

With engine specs like this: Stock internals, stock Non-Seq twins

Would it be wise to buy this: A Greddy 2 Row FMIC, and a new intake (such as the Greddy Airinx or Apex-i), or an M2 Medium so I can keep my M2 intake?

yes I know of the FMIC's that CAN retain a cold air box such as the M2, are these possibly the best?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Do you want a FMIC or SMIC? Either way, I'd only use a cold air intake regardless of the type of intercooler.

Well, I really want what is more effective.

I just don't know if using a FMIC that loses a cold air box is worth it, or even much more effective than a SMIC that retains a cold air box... Thanks!
