Question FMIC - Using one set up for Single in TT Application

I am new to the FD scene, so this may be a typical newbie question. If so, please forgive me. Now to my questions:

I show that some FMICs are set up to effectively/efficiently work on Single Turbo applications. For example, the GReddy 2 row system.

*Why is there a difference?
*Are the connections/bends in the system designed around the physical layout of the single turbo that differentiates the two?
*Are the flow characterisitcs different between the two systems?
*Will it hurt to use a a single-turbo designed system on a stock TT system? Obviously, this question may be answered depending up the previous ones.

I will eventually go single, and I don't want to plunk down the dollars+labor for a TT-designed FMIC or even an aftermarket SMIC when I will eventually need to chuck and replace when I go single.

Thank you in advance,
Eggman.

I believe the greddy 2 row is for under 15 psi and the 3 row is for over 15 psi. Not saying you can't use the 2 row at over 15 psi but due to it's smaller size it won't be as efficent as the 3 row at higher psi rates.

The single turbo intercoolers usually don't come with a turbo to intercooler pipe. Only a intercooler to intake elbow pipe. That means the turbo to intercooler pipe has to be custom made. Which usually happens anyways on any single system because people run different turbos/manifolds/intercoolers together. The intercooler for the twins should come all the pipes needed for the installation

Turbovr6 is(or at least was) using a Apexi FMIC for a single turbo on his stock twin car. He just took one of the leftover stock rubber intercooler pipes and installed it in such a way to make up for the lack of a turbo to intercooler pipe with the single turbo Apexi FMIC kit.

Yes this is a good question, except for me, I want a Greddy 3-row FMIC to work with a twin turbo Japan spec application

When you all quote 15 psi, you're referring to manifold pressure right?

I only plan to run 11 psi from the Japan spec twins, but would like the chance to turn up the boost to 15 psi for stop light confrontations, which is why the 3-row sounds so appealing
