In my wholly biased opinion, the GReddy Type 32 V-spec (3-row) is the largest FMIC core you can get, but the large air volume of the IC core presents too much pressure drop for the stock or J-spec twins. The best match for the twins is what I have, the Type 24 V-spec (2-row). Believe me this core is plenty large and does a phenomenal job of cooling the intake air charge from the twin turbos. You don't need a temp probe. Just feel the difference between the IC inlet and IC outlet pipes!!!

 

That car has an Apexi FMIC with delta fin core. I considered that Apexi myself, and ended up with the GReddy Type 24 V-spec. The GReddy sits way out front for maximum cooling of the intake charge air. The Dead volume between the GReddy IC core and the A/C Condensor/Koyo is rather large which allows air exchange for maximum rad cooling.

My biased opinion is the GReddy FMIC Type 24 V-spec is a better setup for the stock or J-spec twins. The side benefit is the GReddy looks the best when mounted, but the bling bling factor isn't what I'm about

 

So what's the max boost anyone is pushing through the GReddy FMIC Type 24 V? And does it mate with the efini y-pipe crossover pipe?

10/11 low boost setting, 12/13 psi for high boost setting on my Apexi Power FC. It's tuned to 1 Bar, so I could turn the boost up to 14.7 psi...

Yes it does. I highly recommend using the Efini Y/Cross-over pipe with the GReddy Type 24 V-spec FMIC.
