Hey, do you guys have any info/websites on how to install a front mount intercooler on an FD? Not sure if someone sells brackets and instructions on how to move the radiator up front to make room for the FMIC and if there is any cutting involved.

RX-7s do not have front mounted radiators. The radiator goes behind the front crossbar, inside the engine bay. The FMIC goes in between the front bumper cover and the crossbar...
Here are a few pics from my car.
Here you can see the FMIC mounted infront of the chasis. The front bumper extends out beyond this area.
Here you can see the radiator behind the front crossbar, fully within the engine bay.
Whatever FMIC you buy, the manufacturer should have instructions for the install on their website.
A few things to take into account... An FMIC will open your intake path considerably, and can cause an increase in boost--which will lead to detonation and a blown motor if you're not tuned for it. Also, an FMIC will block air to the radiator. Given the fickle nature of these cars and the fact that they tend to be very sensative to overheating, I wouldn't reccomend running an FMIC with a stock radiator, nor would I reccomend it if you're not planning on doing track events. For a strictly street car, the larger stock mount intercoolers are more than adequate.

I know the radiator is not a front mount. I have the same radiator you have. That was my first upgrade on this car. This is not a daily driver, it will be my street strip car. I have a single turbo TO4R and power FC on order. I am wanting to get a FMIC too. Just didn't know exactly what process it takes to move the radiator up to make room for the FMIC.

I'm still not sure what you mean by moving the rad up to make room for the FMIC. The FMIC doesn't sit next to the rad or below it, it sits infront of it...which is why they aren't reccomended for street cars(obviously, for a drag racing car, it's not a big deal).
