You need a special tool.
Flywheel is attached with a large nut.
May be 55mm or so.
Tightening torque ?(sorry I don't know the right word) is 50Kg.
If you weren't Heracles, you couldn't remove it.

2 1/8 inch socket with an impact wrench will take the nut off fairly easily. Then you will have to bang on the flywheel with a mallet to break the seal between the flywheel and the E shaft. Getting the flywheel off the E shaft is w/o a doubt the hardest part.

OK guys, I am going to save you some money. I used to think you needed the same tool to remove the flywheel, but I was proved wrong by a friend. I had my engine out of my 3rd gen doing a swap and was calling places to get the puller when a friend said use a big pry bar. I told him that was BS ans that it was pressed on by the nut. He said no way that the key held it in place. So I said prove it. Well removed the nut, set the key way up so as to not loose the key. He stuck the prybar between the flywheel and engine pushing a little on each side (promising to pay for anything broken), and it poped off. The engine was all by its self with no tranny attached on the ground. So as you can see it didn't take much to do it. Try it out!! Saved me $$
