Flooding and tuning it out

So I understand most if not all Rx7 floods. Especially if you start it and stop it quickly without revving?

with a power fc or other computers, if you get it tuned, can you tune that issue out?

It's the nature of a rotary engine. Really if you start the car cold drive it around the block to get some heat in the engine and in the plugs then shut it off.

You CAN get away with cold starts and shut downs many times but it's too easy to foul plugs and cause a problem. More worn plugs, lower compression engine, and other health factors all weigh in here.

One thing that can help is cutting fuel and letting the engine starve on a cold start. This can be done with a simple fuel pump switch. But, really, this should be WAY down on the list of things to worry about, just start the car and drive it and you won't have problems.

A healthy engine with a reasonable tune does not flood to the point where this should even be a worry.
