Flooded Rx7 help!?!?!

I have a 93 FD. Completely stock. Ran good for about 5 months and got a straight 3 inch exhaust to a dual 3 inch blast pipe put on from the cat back. Still ran fine and good. I then ordered a OBX 3 inch down pipe from the turbo. Sounds mean and hell and ran fine. I usually let it warm up till the temp marker is up and normal position. Once the down pipe was installed i started it up and let it run maybe 5 min??(usually it takes about 10-15 min to fully warm up). took it around the block and down the road(5 miles total) shut it off, but forgot to rev it up. 2 minutes later my buddy wanted to go for a ride so i took him to the same root and back. Revved it to about 3 then shut it off. When i wen to start it about 2 hours later to head up the road it took a few seconds for t to start. Drove it up the road and got about 8 miles and it started bogging out and losing power. i was doing 5th gear pulls where i just gave it some throttle and then let off 10 seconds later prior. And alot of fuel was coming out of the tailpipe. Finally i revved it up in neutral and held it trying to flush it out and then it just shut off.

That night we let it sit for about a hour, tried the egi trick where you pull the relay and crank it in 15 second intervals. Did this about 6 times and it almost fired over. Let it sit over night and came back the next day, did the same egi trick and it fired up for like 2 seconds then shut off. Finally we towed it behind a truck and was able to bump start and get it running. It was running for about 30 seconds at 2500 rpm which i had to hold it there, then bogged out and died.

Yesterday i pulled the plugs (which were soaked in fuel) cranked it over for about 15 seconds and did this 3 times(egi relay out). Little bit of atf in the plug holes put new plugs back in and it still almost started. Gave it a bump start and it started and ran about 30 seconds then shut off had to keep the rpms around 2500 which i had to hold it there. Now it wont start again.

Now im lost... did i not do something right? everything i found for flooding was talking about a FC. I read that if a fd floods you hold it the starter on for 3 minutes with the plugs out... and do that 4 times... but i fell like that would kill the starter. I only have the downpipe and exhaust the rest is 100% stock.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like bad or clogged injectors. Not spraying/atomizing the fuel which in turn is making it hard to ignite. Or something in the ignition system...wires, coils, ignitor, etc.

also...what midpipe are you running? You could have overboosted if you have a high flow midpipe paired with the downpipe and catback which means you could have blown your engine.

I would check compression just to be on the safe side, then check your ignition system to make sure you're getting a strong spark, and then have the injectors cleaned/flow matched.

not necessarily, you can run a blown engine/low compression on one rotor. All it takes is one apex seal. Its just like blowing a few piston rings in a V8...it'll run, but like garbage.

The reason I suggest a compression test is to help rule out the possibility of a blown/low compression engine as its rather common with these engines.

my money is on the ignition or injectors.

Well for ***** and gigs we tried to unflood it again and I checked the radiator fluid andddddd it's empty... And filled with head gasket cleaner... Apparently the guy before me blew the water seal and tried to use this to fix it. And it finally gave away... That's why it smoked so much... So I guess I'll be rebuilding the motor.
