Question flooded engine

I flooded the engine of my 93 rx7 and finally got it running again about a week later. My question is, has this fouled my plugs? The car seems to run alright, but I was wondering if a spark plug change would be SOP in this circumstance.

I know this is really a late reply but, I have a simple solution to the flooding problems of all the Rx7's.

This is my own opinion!

I've owned a 81,84,91 Rx7. Whenever they became flooded, I would simply pull one of the spark plugs just to make sure it was flooded. If it was and wouldn't start, I would simply push start it. I know this sounds crazy but it worked every time. Just recently my 91 vert got flooded "first time ever this has happend since I've owned this vehicle in over 3 years". I thought by removing the spark plugs and turning the engine over would help but it didn't. The plugs I had were only 2 weeks old. So I went back to my old school method. Bingo After all these years I've come to realize that if the engine is flooded and you continue to crank it, " even after letting it sit for a long time or removing the spark plugs and cranking it over" there is still large amounts of fuel in the engine. The thing is, with all the remaining fuel in the engine, the minute you try to crank it over, the injectors/carb add additional fuel. With so much fuel in the engine, the spark plugs become so flooded that they can't ignite all the fuel in the engine. Remember, the starter can only rotate the engine so fast at start up. By push starting the car, this allows the engine to rotate at higher rpm's allowing the spark plugs to begin firing and burning the excess fuel. Now as far as the push starting thing goes. What I did to get the car going fast enough was have one of my parents get in another vehicle and slowly push me down the street . To prevent bumper damage, I used a spare tire without the rim. I placed the tire between my bumper and the bumper of the pushing vehicle. Start of slow and let off the clutch at about 5 mph with the ignition on. Have the person in the pushing vehicle increase their speed to 15mph. DO NOT depress the accelerater for at least 5 secs"once again this allows the plugs to burn the excess fuel". After 5 secs depress the accelerater the car should surge forward under its own power. This should odviously be followed by tons of black smoke behind the vehicle. I know this may be a little embarising pushing the 7 down the street, But it will save you a ton of time. It's worked wonders for me.
