fixing scratched tail lights?

Hey everyone, I have some scratches on my tail lights, is there anyway to get them out or hide them?

u don't have to use EXACTLY these products, but it's the same idea. Use a super-duper-fine sandpaper to smooth out scratched areas, and then use clearcoat or something
I haven't tried this cuz i **** up everything i touch (it's a gift)

depending on the size/depth of the scratch, you may be able to use rubbing compound and/or cleaner wax to get it out... I had a few light scratches on one of mine and used cleaner wax and a little elbow grease to get them to come out

The following website describes how to go about removing raised lettering on the lenses. But it should be helpful in removing scratches as well.
