u don't have to use EXACTLY these products, but it's the same idea. Use a super-duper-fine sandpaper to smooth out scratched areas, and then use clearcoat or something
I haven't tried this cuz i **** up everything i touch (it's a gift)

depending on the size/depth of the scratch, you may be able to use rubbing compound and/or cleaner wax to get it out... I had a few light scratches on one of mine and used cleaner wax and a little elbow grease to get them to come out
