fixed odometer, but its broken again. wtf!!??

so i took out my cluster and found several blown/leaking capacitors. i removed and replaced them. reinstalled my cluster. my odo came back on. i have not driven the car in a few weeks, went to start up the car today only to find out it doesnt work again. any suggestions what else i can look for or test?

I had a poor ground connection on mine after I replace all the caps. Installed a new ground and works normally now.
