fixed my problem created another...
Good news and bad news. I finally got my idle/vacuum problems solved... the air adjusting screw (idle screw) was very loose. I thightend it all the way and tweeked the throttle adjusting screw and now the idle is perfect 750 rpms and the vacuum is -420 mmhg (as opposed to 1000 rpms and -380 mmhg). The bad news is that while I was putting the intake elbow back on I snapped the lower right (closest to the firewall) bolt!! Anyone ever do this? I didn't even tighten it all that much, it just snapped...
The car is a daily driver, so I need to drive it like this for a few days at least...
How do I replace this bolt? Do you guys think I'll have any major boost leaks without it? Has anyone driven their seven with only three bolts holding the elbow on?

How much of it is left sticking out? Can you grab it and twist it out with a pair of vise grips? If there isn't enough to grab with the vise grips, then see if the hardware store has an "easy-out" small enough to get the rest of the stud out. If you can get it out, take both halves to a hardware store and get another Grade-8 stud replacement. When you put it in, however, don't use the vise-grips, use the double-nut (hehe) technique.
