Ask people with a rollbar or roll cage, or a diff brace, or a trans brace, or a torque brace whether or not the car makes alot more noise or transmits more vibration.

WTF did everyone THINK solid bushings would do?

Peter - Plenty of R&D will allow you to achieve better than factory. Try 911GT3 - damn thing is much higher in springs and 30 series compared to the standard 911. Yet the 911GT3 gives the same acceptable ride for much higher performance. Difference? Plenty of R&D.

Regarding the bushings: I've driven in cars with heim joints and VW rabbit with Delrin. Yes they are noisy in terms of a constant noise level. Not these Pieces of Sh*t bushings. They groan and clunk like a 300K miles 1988 F150 truck used for transporting Mexicans across the border.

It's so embarassing to have people pull up to you at a light and ask if something is wrong with your car.

You have issues regarding Microsoft software guys? I know several software guys that are brilliant and quite competant as mechanics (they do their own work on their cars) and as mechanical designers (they research and collaborate with experts for product development).

Most alignment places will not do custom alignments (I have 17 inch wheels 245/40 front and 275/40 rears) so I have to go to sport shops and that's how much they charge for it.

I don't have issues with brilliant SE. I have issues with sh*t for software that Microsoft constantly rolled out: why is it that my XP at work crashes everyday but my brother's Mac does not? Shitty software!!!

LOL I love how this thread went from "shitty bushings" to "shitty software". On a half-way related note, my XP Pro runs very stable on my overclocked gaming machine, and seems to be working great on my laptop.

Running a stable computer is like running a tight car - its all in how you take care of it.

Yes Mac's work better and more stable, but they are 100% proprietary, and that is why. PC's have to be designed to work with hardware from many companies/manufacturers as opposed to one that builds it all, or builds it to a certain specification - high level of tolerances compared to lower level.

That's a bit offensive. Mexicans are people just like everyone else striving for a better life. Although I don't agree with crossing over illegally, having nothing to begin with sometimes makes for desperate situations.

Well, that's like saying the bushings groan and creek more than a slave ship transporting Africans to America... that's making fun of the ship, but I don't find the statement funny.

People willing to break the law to "for a better life" are not "people just like everyone else".

Not for "a better life", no. So, here is a stupid question in response to your stupid question. Do you endorse illegal or unethical behavior for "a better life"? If so, I'll take note never to buy anything you sell.

So, if you have broken laws, then you aren't like everyone else you claim to be. Wrong is wrong, regardless of the degree. If you say your broken law is lesser of another person, then you are nothing but a hypercrite. And you don't have to worry about doing business with me, you are just a nobody so go crawl back in your ethical hole in the ground.

My jimlab bushings are making some noise in the front too, I have about 10k on them. Its mostly just the two right upper ones. I am just going to have my machinist make two new oversized stainless pins to regain the original tightness. It will be quite cheap, and try and get my money out of them.

I think it's funny. And even less relevant, unless you're one of the idiots demanding Renumeration for something that happened to you great-great-great grandparents.

Nope, none of my ancestors were slaves. That's probably the biggest misconception of uninformed (ignorant) white people.

I love it how non-whites get bent out of shape at the first whiff of a potentially racist remark, but when someone says something about white people, no one gives a ****. Get over yourself already, no one cares what color you are anymore. And beyond that, everyone is a ****** hipocrite, deal with it.

Also, there is a difference in the level of the law broken, if you say otherwise, then are you saying that stealing an apple is equivilent to murdering someone? The only thing those two crimes have in common are just that: they are crimes. One is a minor annoyance, the other a travesty.

From noisy bushings and suspected causes, to the arrogant if insecure personality traits of an aftermarket supplier/manufacturer, to the worth of Software Engineers and their product, to preferred transportation of human smugglers, to slave ships and someone's hypersensitivity about race. All in one thread.
The mods could wonder whether this should be in the 3rd gen section, suspension section or the lounge.

When I was a kid living near Great Bend Kansas, there was always--every summer-- at least one F-150 truck flipped over on the highway running from the cops and you'd find Mexicans overloading the truck: inside the pickup bed cab and sometimes under the bed.

Don't know why you find it offensive given that I live in Arizona--the hotbed of illegals crossing over from Mexico. You read that crap in the paper everyday.
