first time start up preperation?

So the rebuilt engine will be back in the car within a few days.

Just wondering what the routine should be once everything's connected back up again.

Thanks in advance!

Connect it up...
Double check everything
Triple check everything
Take a break
Check it once more?
Make sure fuel system is primed and ready to go. (ie run the fuel pump for a while first)
crank.

Make a video of first start up, as it brings hope to all of us who are not there yet.

I pull the spark plugs and the fuel pump relay or fuse .Be sure the oil is up to level and the battery is fully charged . Now ground the spark plugs and put them where someone can see them to see if they are sparking .Now crank the motor to let the oil pump pick up oil and get pressure through the system .Now with oil through the motor and the plugs sparking put the plugs back in and wire up .Return the fuel pump relay ,fuse and key on and look for fuel leaks .All good then start it up . Why start a new motor with out oil pressure .
