MB First time posting, looking for advice on 1992 RX-7

Hello all, this is my first time posting here, i am currently in the process of getting a 1992 RX-7 type X (JDM)imported to Canada, and am just wondering if anyone knows where i could get a body kit.

Everywhere i look just has 86-91 , and 93-97, or does anyone know if a 93 kit will fit the 92 FD ?

Cheers!

it will, the 93 - 95 is the Series 6 FD3S, the US only got those years, but it was actually produced from 92 to 95.

96 was the start of the Series 7 chassis. eitherway, i think the bodies are all the same from Series 6 to Series 8

Hello

First post. It wont be your last thats for sure....

As mentioned above. The 92's are exactly as the 93, 94, and 95's.

I do have one suggestion for you. Wait on the body kit. Trust us. Use your car this summer (at least for half) the way it is. Then if you have no troubles and wont need to poor money into a rebuild (99.9% of all JDM's require one within the first year) you can start on the body kit over our wonderful and lovely fun winters (not). This way you have a new car again next summer.

Regards and good luck

The only reason i am wondering about the body kit is because the car has a cracked front bumper.

Thanks for the replys

In that case seek out someone who has a used front bumper for sale that was removed because the chose to switch for a 99+ spec front end, you'll save lots and it should be easy to find, maybe even already painted in your color. Your then left with funds for future potential miss haps which we always hope does not come but JDM track records have not been kind to their new owners.

Regards
