Looks like fun... I'd love to check out VIR... but it's more like a 50 hour drive for me! And I don't trailer my car! That would hurt...

Can't wait to see the video!

Damian -
First of all, welcome to the small small group who will actually track their car and get to experience just how great these cars really are. I had always assumed from your posts and list of modifications that you were alredy bitten by the track bug. I have tracked my RX7 a few times, but my track car is a 944 Turbo.

Let me know next time you guys are planning a track day. I'll come down to drive with you guys.
-Aaron

Fritzs' car needs some more flair. You definitely have the upper hand on vehicle apperance intimidation factor. Glad you had some fun in Danville.

Damian, Im glad you enjoyed the track so much. It was great to meet you and fritz and see those cars in person. Bruce was an excellent instructor, and I really learned a lot from him. My FC isnt a horsepower monster, but it sure was fun to drive on the track. Hope to see ya back at VIR someday, great pictures!

LORD have MERCY that was too damn much fun. Pimpin with some track DAWGGs on the VIR Full course with the sun and fun shining upon us, my GOODNESS, just what more can a brotha ask for.

I may have some good footage of me and Andy (passenger) chasing Damian but he was so damn fast and it took so long to catch him that the tape may have run out. That boy gots some mad skills

Anyway I'll post some more when I get a chance and it was nice meeting all the new folk and can't wait until the PCA event in Dec. Oh I feel so good I'll be leavin the house just like this hehe

Funny you should mention 2:10. I think you jinxed me hehe I just checked my vids and the best time I have is a 2:10. In one session I took a rider along who clocked me at 2:07 with just one car slowing us down at oak tree. Other than that I really didn't have more than about a 1/2 lap of open track until the last session but the temps came down quite a bit and the track was not that sticky. More excuses hehe, I also put in too much race gas so the car was missing a little and not pulling nearly as well as it had been. I was reaching 165 (indicated) earlier on the back straight carrying a passenger but during the last session I could only manage 160 even with the colder temps.

At VIR the corner workers refer to me as the yellow banana boat and that's about all the flair I can stand but I got moves

Good video. Your oil pressure gauge is not working. I assume you already know this.

Neither does the gas gauge, oil pans still a leaking, sm exhaust leak (best it's been though), cracked rotors, thin pads, dusty as a broom closet on the inside, squeaky belt, and lastly a freak at the wheel

I'm ready for the sequel! Wish I could have been there. Looks like next spring maybe my next chance...if I'm lucky.

I figured I had some decent times because the car was hauling *** down the straights. I only video taped a couple of sessions and just never had any open track.

Thanks for putting a clock on me
