LOL. Yeah that's not surprising. One of the first pages I wrote... I haven't touched that one since 2001! I'll take a look and maybe revise.

Thanks for the feedback. It's much appreciated. Perhaps I'll get princess back on the track. I have a set of Hoosiers with only one weekend on them that I need to use before they dry rot! LOL

Crispy

Thanks for the updates Crispy. Good reading material.

How do you use the spare now with that wheel spacer? It looks like the spare wheel is attached to the spacer...

It's mounted to the spare just for storage in the trunk space. To actually use it you would have to unbolt the spacer, bolt it to the hub and then bolt up the spare. But at least there is no fear of getting stranded and having to call a flatbed. :-)

Crispy

Did you ever look into whether the RX8 or Mazdaspeed3 spare would work? I understand it is a 17" donut.

I did not. However there are two things to consider that include not only the diameter but also the backspacing to clear the caliper. Those 17's might be large enough but if they are like most donuts for cars with "smaller" single pot calipers they are pretty shallow. Don't forget that the JDM FD's equipped with 17's would also have had a bigger donut but one would have to see if it also would clear a BBK.

Test them and report back.

Crispy

This was one of the first few sites I set my eyes on for RX7's before buying one.

BTW, nice "Spirit R" seats.... mom-edition.

Crispy, just to add another ' ' for your site. I go back to your's and a couple others every so often. I don't have your budget, but I always learn something, a little tid-bit, an idea....something. A bar set high makes everyone reach a little higher.
