Finally up and running!

hey guys thought I'd share that I just got my MB FD up and running sunday. I bought it back in september and spent alot of time restoring it back to nearly new
condition. The car is a 94 MB and only has 28K miles on it!! The car has been sitting since 2001 and now has finaly been saved from sitting in someones yard and is back on the road and stored in a garage. Nothing can beat that feeling when you first get a car back on the road, this is the second time I've done it and it never gets old!! I can only imagin what it must be like for those guys that spend years working on their car before they can drive it. I plan on keeping this car close to stock with only some minor mods that could easily be put back to stock. My last car had alot of mods with a single turbo and 400hp but it was no colectors item. This car I want to keep as a colector car and hopefully it will be worth alot of money. Good luck to all you guys in the middle of a project right now you better hurry up spring is comming.

Congrats! Glad to hear another FD is on the road where it should be!

What all did you have to do to it to get it running again?

the motor was trashed, and was seized so I had to do a reman. I also did alot of cleaning, wire brushing and painting. I toped it off with a bunch of reliability mods. I still have some more small parts to replace and clean up but at least not i can drive it.
