Sure, what angle you looking for? I plan on doing some actual quality photos tomorrow after I fire it up!

I was really happy how this kit came out as it uses factory bolt points as well as factory compression and Y-pipe tubes making it VERY EASY to install.

The only PITA part will be reinstalling A/C on it but im not worried about it

I did end up relocating the powersteering S bend ... actually replaced it with an actual cooler instead.

I also installed a undertray made of aluminum to protect the vitals from speedbumps. More to come upon completion!

Ok so I ran it for about 10 minutes and the coolant started gurling out so i freaked out and shut it off and it flooded lol. So now I gotta wait till tomorrow to try again...

Coolant buzzer was going off... probably due to the fact that the coolant buzzer line broke

OMG it feels GREAT to be driving again!

Water temp is staying at 79 with fans on and 85 fans off with the V-mount.

Intake temps are around 32 at low speed in vacuum. I used to see 46+ with the stock mount under the same conditions.

31 miles and 3 hours of run time! YAY!

More pics of the V-Mount. The Front ducting is setup for a OEM bumper thats uncut, unfortunetly mine was cut for a Front Mount so im going to have to make a few more pieces to complete the front ducting.

Still waiting on my new intake too

Engine had a few leaks in the heater hoses so I had to replace those and now shes leak free!

Hmmm, what do you think that intercooler setup is good for power wise? I work for a subaru shop and i can get STI intercoolers all day long

LOL did i start a new trend?

I have friends at GoodSpeed Racing and they say a Subi can do right around 380-400 on a VF39 on the stock JDM STi intercoolers.

Depending on volumetric efficiency i'd say the thresh-hold is somewhere near there.

I'll report my performance once the engine is broken in and dyno'd.

ok sounds good.....just so you know i have NEVER seen a subaru make those numbers of a vf39....not wheel power at least.

I've seen the sheets, kinda rare as hell, but either way.

Back to the RX Side

ANyone know roughly how long till the new rebuild will build up to full compression?

I've done one oil change after 10minutes of running, one oil change at 100 miles, plan another at 500 miles and a last one at 1000miles, all in vacuum low load to medium load.

So far shes at 16-17inches of mercury at idle... 182 miles...
