Yeah I thought it was going to stick out like a sore thumb but it is tucked away nicely.

car looks great, but i dont like the mazda emblems being black like that. i think you should have left them with the polished/chrome look and then gotten some polished wheels to match

heath, the car looks awesome! i especially love those side skirts... they blend in really well with the front skirt, and sort of tie everything together. Also, where did you get the power steering cooler? i didnt know it was possible to ditch our stock "loop" ... i want one now!
(on a side note..... i dont meet too many heath's around, and im really excited when i do. its my name too ) -heath

Yup there aren't too many of us Heath's!

Here's some info:

I got it off of rpmnet.com
PRODUCT: 37600
Cooler - Power Steering

The web page has changed but you might be able to call them.
Here was the link to the other forum:

I've got a few pm's about the power steering cooler so I did some searching:

aluminum Afco inline cooler

http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=400567&Nao=40
Part number: AFC-37750

That looks the same as mine, just a different color. I also found the same site that I got the idea from:
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/steering_cooler/

Hope this helps,
Heath

Heath,

I need to come over for a photo shoot now that my front bumper is done and the engine bay is close.

The Feed UIM cover? I got it from jt-imports before he went out of business. I think a couple of other places sell them too but I don't know where.

I actually just sold it. Another forum member had to have it so we agreed on an appropriate price. It'll be shipping out soon.

I'm thinking a cosmo UIM/LIM set-up is in order!

I've never tracked the car. I've always wanted to but I've never been able to find the time. Maybe soon!

ok let me bug you with one more question about the side skirts... if they cover the stock jacking points on the frame rail of the car, how do you jack up the car if you get a flat?? im assuming you cant jack on TOP of the skirts correct? any pictures of them from under the car? im trying to picture it. -heath

I could be wrong, but I would think the sideskirts would but up against the pinch weld and you would still be able to use the stock jack. you may damage the piece a little, but nothing that you could see. but I dont have them, thats just how I would think they would go on.

I have no problem getting a floor jack under my car...and the scissor jack can still get in the groove.

The skirt sits just outboard of the rail.
