Finally...

I'll be picking up my "new to me" 93 Silver R1.
Now before you say it.. it was repainted the Mazda Silver after the fact. I know there were no silver R1's.

Either way. I can't wait. It's perfect turbo weather too.

Just had to tell somebody.

Pics and first impressions to follow.

I remember how happy I was when I bought my first FD.

I also remember how happy I was after going through 10 motors.

Good times!

Where are you getting it from? I know of a silver R1 that used to be black.

Exercising restraint

Got it from here in Boston.

No insurance or registration yet. Picked it up with my current set of plates. Had to take it easy coming back home so i didn't get pulled over. Infamous Brookline cops and all.

Can't wait to get my plates and insurance coverage on it so I can run out and try to get my first ticket! It's gonna be a LONG wait 'til Monday.

Big smiles and cool air to intake.

Daedel -> Yes. But it's not currently working. Will be moving the VDO gauge from my Audi over as I will be selling the A4. I need it to see what the HKS boost settings are set to!

Mahjik -> Thanks. I don't think I'll need much help.

I just made a point to mention that so you don't overboost and pop the motor.
