FFE FD Fuel Step Up Kit Installation

FD Fuel Step Up Kit | Full Function Engineering

I thought this could be installed without any other significant changes, but that turned out to not be the case.
For anyone else using stock twins that is considering this upgrade, here is what had to change so I can fit the secondary rail without interference from hard vacuum lines.

All the vacuum hoses that were in the way were related to boost control and went to/from the factory solenoids.
I cut away the parts shown in the first image, capped off 2 of the lines as shown in the second image (and shimmed the bracket a little), and bent the line that had gone to the mini vacuum manifold to create the space shown in the last image. I have a few mm of clearance without the silicone touching the fuel line/banjo now.

Then for boost control I set up 3-port MAC solenoids and mounted them near the intake with extended harnesses, as discussed here:

I'm still putting the rest of the car back together, so I have no feedback on the system itself yet, however the rest of the install was pretty straight forward.
