it will help alot getting an elbow welded on the turbo housing. the vertical couplers dont work too well with the air flowing upward.

looks real nice... the funny thing I noted was that the "RX-7" fake plate up front is crooked!

I like the '99 spec front... and here in NJ where the front plate is required, it would be a nice fit... (although from the side it looks a little funny...)

Front looks good. Sell the wheels. The wheels don't compliment the car. And the color of the wheels (unless it is the lighting) look bad to me. A darker wheel would look better. I don't care for the 99 wing. Good choice on going without. Maybe get the 99 rear brake lights (or convert). Something is missing in the back there. It looks too plain. Maybe it's just the angle or maybe you have stock suspension. The front looks great.

2 Cents,
Joseph

He already has the 99 "rear brake lights"
His car is already lowered, NOT stock suspension.

Did you look at the photo's for more than 2 seconds?

And have you ever seen dark/black rims on MBM? I think it's hideous.

Great looking car, however put me in the camp that doesn't care for the '99 spec bumper. To me that license plate 'horror' just ruins the entire front bumper. Those Aegis wheels are dope, I like them only slightly less than Fikse FM10s. All in all that is one damned fine FD, and indeed it is a tribute to the Montego Blue cars we all love or hate....lol!

The only reason I would switch wheels is to get something SUBSTANTIALLY lighter. I love the way they look. The lip on the wheels is actually pretty shiny though not super deep.

The car should be ready by Thursday. SexyRX is coming to town on Friday, so it has to be ready by then.

Do you have any clean shots of the sideskirts or some higher resolution photos you can send me? I need them for the website if you don't mind. Thanks.

I think I prefer the OEM bumper with the license pad. Without it, the nose looks kind of droopy with the smile'n center opening. Great looking car.

I agree about the "smile" look. If you focus on the license plate holder, it looks bad. If you just look at the car as a whole, it looks sweet.

As a side note, my intake temps have been MUCH better with the 99 Spec bumper. Before, I was seeing IATs climb into the 60s C where now I haven't gotten them higher than 44 C under the same conditions.

I would disagree... Maxcooper's MB w/ black wheels looks hot.
