Few questions: Moonroof and Interior
So I am in the middle of trying to find a single turbo Black on black RX7 with Suede seats and touring package. I understand that I can swap whatever seats I have out for the suede ones so that isn't really a problem for me, but the FD's that I've found are either Black on tan or Black on black and no moonroof.
My question is... how difficult would it be to swap from tan to black? If I brought the car to an interior place, would I be able to say, can you just change the interior to black? I'm guessing they would also work the seats to be suede too.
Also, has anyone ever installed an aftermarket moon roof in the car? What are the type of problems I'd run into and do you think it's a smart idea to do that?

No it's not a smart idea to add an aftermarket sunroof. The sunroof models have a slightly thicker structure to account for the sunroof (which is why you loose some head room with the sunroof). If you cut a non-sunroof model, you'll be altering the car's rigidity.

What about the interior? And also, if the car has a single turbo kit on the car already and I was to use a different turbo/go a different turbo route, how hard is it change or what exactly needs to be changed.

People frequently pick up used black interior pieces off the forum and swap them over. Be aware of the high cost of black interior parts. Its going to run you a few grand at least to get the full swap done. I just parted out two FD's and they both had black interior. These pieces were where I made a really large profit. So, its not difficult, more just expensive, and you have to find all the pieces (and finding good condition pieces can take time).
As far as the turbo goes, if its already single your a leg ahead as long as all the supporting mods are already on the car. If thats the case, and the turbo you are swapping in is not crazy bigger than the existing unit you will most likely just need a re-tune. But say your going from a t04s to a T51R or something you might need more fuel (pump, injectors+rail, lines etc) or better ignition.
If I were you, I would just find a car that has as many of the things that your looking for already installed. Make the buyer eat the cost of the modifications as they will not hardly raise the value of the vehicle. Just make sure that everything was done correctly and not a hack. Make sure you drive the car, boost on it, and make sure the owner isnt making any lame excuses for any hesitations, clunks, or things of the like. Obviously low mi is going to tend to be better shape, and resale value down the road. Beware of no name shop rebuilds.

Changing the interior from tan to black is easy. As long as you are patient and source the black parts from people who kept them in good condition.
I did my interior tan to black, took a couple of months because i got the jdm rear seat so i had to put other misc interior pieces on hold. Not to mention the car was down anyway because of diagnosing issues so i had time.
