BPU stands for "Basic Performance Upgrades". This is a term commonly used by Supra Twin Turbo owners to describe their favorite combination of modifications, which are: Boost Controller (set at 17-18psi), Turbo Down-Pipe, Cat-Back Exhaust System, and a Boost Cut Eliminator. These are the mods that have been proven to provide the biggest horsepower bang-for-the-buck.

BPU Supras usually put down around 420 horsepower to the ground.

BPU hasn't been a very popular RX-7 term because so many owners do strange things.

Efini is the Japanese name for the FD.

Kinda like Fairlady for the 300zx, or Silvia for the 240, and Trueno for the older Corollas.
