A few observations of my rx7. Answers please?

Good morning rotary enthusiasts. Today my post most relates some possibly odd obersavtions about my 1993 single turbo rx7 and I am hoping you guys can answer or create some clarity for them. Alright well simple enough my rx7 is a single turbo street ported big injected blah blah blah it goes brap and I have a ball with it at times but she gets her loving too.
My first observation is that my throw out bearing has been whining the last 300 miles. (No I don't beat on the car like you would think some would do) it's been just casually whining the same amount for the mileage yet here's the crazy thing, after picking up a new battery and New alternator (old one did literally nothing) my throw out bearing sound has gone down now. The idle hasn't really changed yet the noise overall sounds decreased. Is there anything I should look For or adjust that there might be a possibility it shouldn't even be whining?
My second observation and overall question is how many rotations do you guys start on? As soon as you crank the car does it fire right up? I always see some cars starting up so quickly. Mine take about 2-3 rotations to get fired up. It doesn't girgle or flood and hot restarts are the same number of rotations to start. However I've been curious if there is something I can do to help the car start sooner without hurting anything, just some good ole maintenance things. I put in New spark plugs battery and alternator in the last week. Hoping to clean my throttle body today but still curious about those 2 observations and what your guys honest input is.
Thanks, Dan.

When you try to start, can you here it turning and then it fires up, or is it the common "click click start" issue?

2-5 rotations to start is normal, the ECU needs to see enough rotations of the crank to get a signal and figure out where the engine is in its cycle, before it can provide spark. unlike a distributor which does that mechanically.

Banzai racing has just started putting the later Rx8 starter guts into the FD starter nose, which bumps cranking speed, which does make for faster starts.

Its defiantly cranking really good. I don't hear any clicking noises at all

Okay goodie. I have an apexi ecu So that May affect things but that makes me feel better about my starting times. Do larger seals also cause later start times?

Welcome to the club

I do not know throwout bearings to whine,

rattle--yes...but whine? I am not sure.

perhaps it was your alternator in the first place. What made you conclude throwout?

I get no less that 2 but no more than 5 rotations to start. Less rotations usually equate to a cold engine. My motor has about 60k miles on a factory reman.

That pushing in the clutch would stop the whining whirling noise.
