a few issues (power, vibration, clunk)

Strange issue in my '93 touring..

I've pressure tested the intake manifold and not found ANY leaks.

at WOT sometimes (at every RPM it seems) the car will usually make full power but sometimes it will only maybe make 1/2 - 3/4 power (at 10PSI) and rarley it will just CRAWL and only make 2-3PSI. Sometimes releasing the throttle and re-applying will fix this, sometimes I have to actually let off for a few seconds before I get back on it. It's quite irritating because it caused me to be embarrassed by an SRT4 the other night (along with me missing ()#*#$ 3rd, what is with that, seriously)

The other issue is a CLUNK that sometimes happens while turning and other times while over bumps. I think it's in the rear suspension. I had the car up on the lift yesterday and cannot find it by pulling/wigling/shoving any part of the car. Nothing looked obvoiusly loose or anything either. I even checked the motor and trans mounts but it's hard to tell if they are OK or not.

Another (possibly connected with #1 and #2) issue is a vibration at WOT that's sometimes present and sometimes not... It definatly happens when the car is making full power, and I can feel it in whole car.. it's pretty severe when it happens, and sometimes it's totally gone.

Don't know about the other problems, but the clunk in the rear suspension is usually the pillow ball bushings. Do a search for pillow ball or clunk and you'll find plenty of info. They're not too hard to change out. specially if you've got access to a lift, and a press.

I'll bet your power problem is either a boost leak or bad check valve.

The clunk in the rear is often a pillowball, but other bushings can cause it too. I have a clunk in the back, but it's from loose fuel tank baffles inside the tank. They thump around sometimes.

any ideas on the vibration?

it seems to be drivetrain related and not engine, it only does it in gear and usually only in 1st and 2nd @WOT

I would check the differential for pinion bearing wear. It's found by looking for play at the pinion bearing flange.
