Fender flares on fd

Quick question how wide of wheels would you need so that the fender flares would match. Would 18x10 do the job? Don't want a car that has a wide body with tires that are hidden in the dark.

depends on what flares you are wanting to use. check out the exterior section. do you have a certain type of fender flare in mind?

I was thinking Pettit or something not as aggresive as them. Most likely somethign smaller. I'm nto sure about the offsets and stuff, I'm trying to see what I'm looking for if I was to get fender flares. I'm looking for suggestions on what tire measurements would be ideal for even considering fender flares.

If you are going to go with the Pettit flares, 18x12s with 335/30/18s works well. The offsets of the rear rims should be around +18.

I was running 19x10s with a 275 in the rear and it rubbed a little. However, I was not running flares.

I think the most important thing for you to do is find out what you want your car to look like. Then find a wheel and tire setup that will fit.
