just got the intake and wanted to know if it was a good flowing intake.

 

might be good flowing, but it's foam filter. Thus, not sure how well it filters.

I had it a few years back..

What I did like: Performance you can really feel the diffrence 10 - 15 hp.
:Also the sound of the blow off valve was nice and mean.

What I did not like: In the instructions it required you to disconnect the Air-pump. To get rid of the dying goose noise. I went thru a couple random tech. high flow cats, this way. It was running to rich at idle.

: secondly itsuck in too much hot air in stop and go traffic, unless you guild a shield for it. I think RE-Amemiya sells them now.

That's just my thoughts... enjoy it though....

It has good flow but the problem with it is that it sucks in hot air during stop and go traffic. Also the foam filter gets hard and brittle after heat soaking and when it starts getting really bad, a chunk of foam can come off and get sucked in by your turbos. I would rather have the apex'i intake

 

Paper is better..

However if you take car of it, and have the heat shield that usually even comes with it FREE, then you should be good to go..

Its good for the cash.. But APEXi is good too..

DONT GET THOSE HKS FOAM FILTER SET-UP THOUGH< WHAT A JOKE THOSE ARE..
