fd3 neophite ?????

so many ?s so little time....i bought my 94 touring w expired motor...figured i was replacing motor, so why not trans also...well i used the 5-speed harness and spliced it into the auto front & dash harnesses, got it running(hks dp w/jethot, rb catback, modified stock airbox..no other mods until computer upgrade) and after a week of cutting-out under boost...it was like the computer just shut fuel off right as the boost hit 10psi...i guess i ran enough fresh gas through because wham, last night it started running great! so at least it runs good but...i've got a manuel instrument panel coming and wondering if it will plug in easily and fix my grounding prblm. i've got a slight leak from the oil pan, are they hard to do in the car? my check engine light comes on under boost above 5k,any thoughts? thanks for any help in advance...so far love the fd..looking forward to getting some prblms solved then upgrading computer & building hiflo cat

OK, I didn't read your post because it was a long confusing run-on sentence, but I did want to make a comment on a common misnomer.

The chasis code for the car is "FD3S" which is said "Eff Dee Three Ess". Shorthand for this is "FD."

The car is not an "FD3" with the plural form being "FD3S" said "Eff Dee Threes". I'm not sure why people in the USA have such a hard time with that, but it's pretty common misconception so don't feel too bad.
