FD TX mods.
Some reliability Mod questions.
I have a 94 FD R2 with 8K miles.
It already has a Borla,
Petit AST,
Petit TKT cold air induction system,
Petit TKT power pulley kit,
Since it is going to be a Texas car, I was thinking
I need to do the precat/downpipe, radiator and
intercooler.
Any recommendations on brand, given price and
ease of installation. I have done some reading here and at scudieri, but haven't come to any conclusions about radiators or intercoolers. Otherwise I guess a ceramic coated N-tech downpipe. Where does one get that?
Turbo cooling systems? Cool charge???
Will all of these is it time for a different chip/computer to manage the fuel?

The downpipe is ALWAYS a good idea and so is a larger radiator......but you will have to upgrade the ECU if you get a larger IC...
www.n-tech.net to get that DP.
as radiators go..I have been happy with my www.m2performance.com unit..(madzacomp)

Even though the car only has 8k miles, everything on there is still 8 years old. The coolant has probably been sitting in there for a long time and may have corroided sp? the radiator. I would suggest a radiator first. You can get a Fluidyne for $419 (direct fit) or a Koyo for about $370 (a little harder to install).
The stock precat is probably in good condition but it still needs to be replaced asap. Defiantly do a ecu at that time.
I/c should be fine unless you want to run more then 12psi.
