fd twin turbo boost problems

hi
im new on the forum, but i need some help with the twin turbos on my car

i live on the dominican republic, i got a FD rx7 jdm spec, stock twin turbos, the car came working ok from japan and then i screw the turbos and exchange them with new ones.

the problem is that the car is boosting 14 lbs but then the lbs starts to fall down, i check every vacuum hose and everything seems ok.

does someone knows how to fix this problem or know what i have to check so that the lbs of boost dont fall, please help.

thanks a lot.

Is it a steady fall? If it is, I would check functionality of your turbo control actuator and associated vacuum/pressure lines. You may just be running on one turbo which would explain why your boost falls off.

well
on any gear the car pulls 15 lbs of boost
but for example on 3rd gear it pulls 15lbs and start to fall to 5lbs and even 0lbs
when i change gears to 4th the cars makes a very extrange noise, dont know how to explain.
like if the turbo its eating all the air or something like that, sounds like a goose

any help thanks.

I had a similar problem though I had a crack in my exhaust manifold which was leaking like no tommorrow and several solenoids were cooked( I know they can be brought back to life most of the time by throwing them in WD40 for a couple of days as we)).

You should look at the boost pattern vs. RPM to see what's going on and check your solenoids as well as any obvious leaks(which you have already checked for it sounds).

Like RossC check your boost control actuator/solenoid as this may be the root cause.

Is this only occuring under WOT, 85% WOT etc?
