FD transmissions

where do you guys buy fd tranny's? or where do you have them rebuilt and what kind of costs to expect... and does any1 know where to buy slightly used fd tranny's?

i looked a little on google but didnt find much, how much do they go for anyway??

I'm not sure where to find a place that will rebuild them, but if you wanna find a slightly used FD tranny, my best thought would be to check the for sale section of the forums. They have some good stuff for sale there, and for some good prices. Good luck with finding a tranny.

Classifieds section here. About getting them rebuilt, not sure. I'd probably say to find a local place that knows rotaries. Check the Regional forums for info on local places.

i just had my auto tranny rebuilt by a local transmission shop. Granted i knew a worker there and got hooked up with stronger steels,clutches, and a shift kit all installed for 2k total
