FD seizures at 5k rpm and throttle position

I noticed my FD has some violent seizures at 5k rpm and about 3/4-full throttle. If I ease the throttle, at like 1/4 down then it does just fine and nothing happens. Stock turbos. Second kicks in at 4500. But if I try to put the throttle down, the whole car feels like it stops accelerating and then surges forward, stops and surges. Like it is having a seizure.

The car was my dad's and he hasnt experienced this. He thinks it could be a map issue with the AEM computer?

Any thoughts?

check your throttle position sensor. i just recently had to replace mine because it was doing the same thing. id get up to 5k RPM and the car would just get stuck there much like yours did, was a real pain in the *** and very annoying.

Maybe your secondary injectors. I'd check the wiring to them and have them flow tested/cleaned.
