FD Scan tool

So I discovered my FD has an EcoCPU instead of the stock one. I went on their website to see about tuning and just general knowledge on it and found that they sell a scan tool. Has anyone used theirs? Just curious if it’s worth buying one or sticking with the flashing lights method. https://shop.legend-car.jp/products/diagchecker

Never heard of an EcoCPU, must be a Japan only thing.

How often do foresee yourself using it? It's cool but what's the value of having that? The natural way of things is most people eventually go to some standalone which would make a tool as such useless. I don't think the "traditional" method of code pulling is so daunting where that tool would make life significantly better. Cool novelty though. I would get it just for that

Neat company that specializes more in decoding and maintaining the electronic side of things FC and FD, although they do sell fast response IATs, digital TPS for FD, and other odd bits.

Their blog is full of all sorts of cool unobtanium information. The main reason they sell stuff is to fund the campaigning of the Team Hoshino 767B.

Posts about deconstructing and understanding the 13J two stage variable intake control hardware, very interesting:
There is a shortage in the description of the control of the 767B - RECHARGE Inc.
There is a shortage in the description of the control of the 767B 2 - RECHARGE Inc.
