FD Sandwiched by Land Rover

Well, after just repainting, putting a Feed bumper, Scoot hood, getting all the dings ironed out, etc in early December, I get sandwiched between some ******* old man I should have throttled and the Sorority girl in daddy's Land Rover behind me.

Apparently her brakes were not as effective as mine.... She was actually cool about it and confessed all to the trooper while the geezer before was screaming at me for 'injuring' his measly Focus and how he's a professional driver. If he had been less than 70 I would have decked him. A nice shut-the-f up and an if-you-cuss-at-me again I'll deck you seemed to work and sent him to sit in his wife's car who I guess was following him.

The good news is that I get my car back tomorrow they said and after I pay the body shop, I'll be about $2600 richer.... for once insurance pays off, even if it wasn't mine. No points either since I managed to prevent the accident until I got creamed from behind so no ticket for me. That really seemed to tick the old geezer off

Try reading again people. He said he will be getting it back from the body shop and have insurance money left over. That isn't how a totaled car works. Good to hear you are alright.

Update...picked up the car.

Looks great but they put the bumper back on without my oilcooler ducts which is now going to be a pain in the *** to install with the bumper on. Go figure .

[Couldn't really pick up the girl because my girl had to come pick me up...she was pretty cute though]

Well, the $2,600 will just about offset the Volk GTCs + PP S-03's that are going on here any day

Sorry to hear about the accident, but congrats on the free set of Volk's that you're getting out of the deal. If you haven't ordered the rims already go through www.randdmotorsports.com Dave will hook you up and his customer service is unmatched!!!! Just thought that I would throw that out there. Laterz.

Thanks, I already had odered the Volks some weeks back from Rishie on this board. They are supposed to be here within a week or two and my tires are sitting right here in my office.

Yeah, I came out $2,668 bucks ahead, mainly by salvaging the hood, buffing out the combo lights, and going with the cheap MB 'Feed' instead of the standard Feed. I didn't really want to wait on parts again for weeks one end. That's getting so old.

I'm thinking I might have further damage though. My rear axle/ differential doesn't sound right now when I shift. There might be some morenew parts here in my future ....

Man hook me up with the preteen girl!
How was kotakis this time? She really fucked up with me...let her know that she just lost about 6 more refferals from me and thank her for the headlight thats only got to cost about 350. That could be a boost controller or pfc after selling my pettit computer plus it makes my car look retarded with the headlights up in the day.

I gotta thank you so much for the springs. I went by Jeffs place to get some 9s all around and he told me to take them. If you want them back or anything let me know. I'm going to save them for my next 7 probably so it'll be a while. The 12 hours of sebring was phat. Cam from pettit was there and he got my car running the best its ever been ever!! I'm so happy. You seriously need to take your car there when you get a chance. There is nobody like Cameron he makes everyone look silly that we've been to. He's a frigen natural and probably the #1 expert in the US on 3d gens.

BTW can you please pm my buddy Jeff (ricola555). He has the same streetport as you and same mods minus injectors and intercooler if you could help him out with the pfc or give him your map. He needs some tuning help to pull out like 70rwhp I believe he's missing!!

We'll all have to meet up next time I come home and get a bunch of other 7s to join.
