Angry FD runs rich, emission problems

Hey, i've got a -92 fd, nothing is modified. (except that the engine is a -93+)

I have problems running the original ECU (-92), alot of black smoke
all over, When connecting my powerFC with a rx7 base map there are just as much smoke, no idle at all.

I will have to half the inj values to make it run straight, and i got through emission test on idle, but not on 2500. Been trying to tune it for many hours but i just cant get it to lean..

I would prefere to use the original ecu for the emission test but im out of solutions.. could it be the FPR?

TPS Values are in range, o2 sensor works, the water temp sensor shows 50dgr c when engine is warm ( oil temp are up at 90dgr c), will this cause the problem?

/Gus

Make sure that all the sensors and connectors that the ECU needs to function properly are in spec, unbroken, plugged in etc. Besides the sensors you listed there's the water temp sensor, which is not the same as the one for the gauge. and the IAT, Idle Air Temp sensor.

Check your plugs and wires, making sure you get spark.

You can download the 94 factory manual from the stickies at the top of the 3rd Gen section. Section F is what you'll need to read.

Check your MAP sensor too, if that's unplugged the car will run like **** and spew black smoke.

Make sure that your air pump clutch is engaging if not then check your A/C fuse thats next to the diagnosis box. That was my problem.
