"Bolt-in" applies to the floor plates only, not the bars. You're still going to have to have the tubing welded together in the car.

i know all the rulings. what i asked was where i can get info on cages
So sorry, I thought information on cages was what you had received in this thread...

that's what i has assumed. i don't want the cage welded to the actual frame of my car.

i was looking for information as to where to get cages, not more info on rules. i can look up rules all day long, but that still doesn't leave me with many options for cages. i do appreciate the assistance either way tho

Well, you're in luck, because your car doesn't have a frame.

You will, however, have to drill 20 holes in the floor pan (4 bolts per plate) to have a "bolt-in" cage. Personally, I'd rather weld the plates in than deal with potential leaks and a lot of headache with bolting all that crap in. If you change your mind, that's what they make Sawzalls for.

I don't know if Chris Alston's Chassisworks or Art Morrison have FD dimensions on file from someone else's cage, but it's worth a phone call. If not, you can buy door bar kits from either one and have a local shop modify and install someone else's cage kit for the FD. Or, you can just have a local shop to build you one from scratch. That about sums up your options.
