FD Question: How do you measure rotor compression?

I had this message up in the tech support forum and no one seems to know. How do you know if you are getting the correct compression from rotor 1 and 2? How do you test it? What instrumentation is needed? and.....what number(s) are considered to be good compression?

Why am I asking?

...because I bought my FD 2 years ago. It had 100K miles. A new motor was put in at 70K. Right now it has 109K. Since I have had my FD, I had done all the reliability mods (Except for the AST replacement and vacuum hoses <--I'm doing that next month.) and most of the BPU upgrades. I'm shooting for "it just rolled off the lot , but had BPU upgrades"...correct compression and boost pressure as when it was brought brand new kind of a deal. I'm the second owner. The first owner that had the car liked the car and maintained the engine but didn't really know what was what and what he had. My goal is simple, 300 horses. Right now I have DP, Catback, Apexi Intake, RB Cool Airducts. I have done my fan mods and installed my boost and temp guages. I can feel the difference when I didn't have all this stuff but I feel that it's not running as fast as it should. Maybe it will all change after the hose job. I'm just scared that I'll be spending on some other stuff and neglected the fact that my rotors were bad or not getting the right compression. If that's the case, then instead of spending $$$ on upgrades, I'd rather get a new street ported motor.

Thanks,
Jason

My car was kind of in the same position. 113k on it. Beware, I had my compression checked and it was all 8's (I have the actual numbers in my car). Then O-Rings went 1 week later, and just like that....time for a rebuild.
