For FD Owners with Stock Clutch
Hi all,
I test drove a 94 Touring with approx. 34,000 miles today and the clutch seems really soft. Is this normal?

If by smooth you mean that it has a gentle engagement,
that it's not a bear trap clutch with an abrupt engagement, yeah, that's normal. It doesn't mean it's going to start slipping or anything. You can test for slippage by driving up a hill in a high gear at relatively low rpm's. If the revs start to rise but the car doesn't go any faster, your clutch is slipping.
