fd newb upgrading radiator

So I am hoping to get a little help. I picked up a koyo radiator for my fd. The car already has a down pipe, and a peter farrell exhaust on it. I put the main cat back in to help keep the boost from creeping. My problem is now with the radiator the stock air box wont fit. Do you guys thing sticking a stock exhaust back on it. Would then let me toss an intake on it without boost creep? Id like to keep the down pipe off to keep under hood temps down.

man I miss my 2nd gen haha

When you searched how many Koyo radiator threads did you find?

Seriously, before making any modification I would spend 20+ hours reading the FAQ and searching through old threads on this board. (And a search for 'Koyo' would have revealed many fitment threads. Reversing the stock upper brackets to lower the radiator has worked for some.)

If you just 'toss' modifications onto this car, it will toss a seal.

Well I got the radiator all settled. Forgot I could search under thread title lol

I have done my fair share of reading as far as mods. some say downpipe, catback and intake will be ok. some say a power fc would not hurt to have.

aftermarket intakes don't cause boost creep.
