Question FD mud guards - factory spoiler. where to buy?

i found web site some time ago that offered a set of factory mud guards that were already painted silver or red. i can't remember or find the site any longer... does anyone have a source?

i am also intersted in a factory rear R1 spoiler... if someone can point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it. do these come pre-painted also?

thank you.

i think the mud guards come pre-colored from the factory, the headlight covers come pre-colored aswell. Not sure about the spoilers though, but i would guess they would be also?

Check the forsale section, an R1 spoiler will be easy to find in there, the mud guards shouldnt be all that hard either.

You might search around a bit but there have been several recent threads talking about the non-availability of factory mud flaps...there simply aren't any more of them. Yes, they did come pre-colored, by the way.

I'm not sure where you bought yours from, however both sets of headlight covers I have purchased from Malloy came to me in a plain grey/white, ready to be painted though not already colored.

The place that was selling the mud flaps was Mazdastuff. I checked their website and it appears their domain is gone. Google has a cache of their site from March 2nd of this year so I would imagine they are still in business (they just let their domain expire).

Try emailing them: parts@mazdastuff.com

Last I heard, only Vintage Red was available but you could always paint them a different color (if needed).

Here's what's on my old email confirmation order from them:

FD01-V3-450G-XX - Front
FD01-V3-460G-XX - Rear

I didn't look these up to verify them, so you might check the parts fiche just to make sure.

The only thing I would add to this is...the 'XX' is your colour code. For instance, my Montego Blue ones were 'M8'.

I've always wanted some CF mudgaurds based on the factory molds, but I've never bothered to try and get interest generated in the vendor sections because mudguard fans seem to be few and far between. Nice to see there's some others around.

Since you'll probably have them painted anyway, if you can be patient buying a good used set makes more sense. I bought a set (front and rear) in nice shape not long ago for ~$100. Post a WTB in the FS section.
