FD Having Electrical please help!

First off its a pleasure being part of this group. i recently purchased my 93 RX7 after many years spent being around Honda's. And this is by far not any where close to the hondas im use to lol

but anyways i am having some electrical issues i need help finding my issue what the problem might be and what i should be looking for and what i need to to do fix the problem!

1. My Front windshield wipers are not working. i flipp the swicth and all a hear a little buzzer. so i did some trouble shooting. i went to the motor and pulled the connector off to realize there was one burnt connector only around the plastic. while i had the switch on i connected the connector the wipermoter back on doing this the wipers struggled to move. my theory is that the wipers have been placed to tight and or not lubricated to move... i few seconds later i started smelling smoke front the connecter and the wiper switch inside the steering wheel housing. there was smoke coming from my steering wheel housing so i quickly turned the switch off and disconnected the connector to the motor. this is a real big one i need to fix asap due to coming rain in the forcast ..(my daily FD ) please help!

2. when i got the car the tails and dash were not working. i replaced the fuse only to have it blow. i hear i may have a crossed wire somewhere but dont know where to look or what to look for! I placed a bigger fuse since i drive at night in order for the dash and tails to run. i pull the fuse when i park it just in case. i recently noticed that i forgot to place the fuse back in but.... my dash and tails are working ??? idk what happened. my guess is i will pull the fuses individually to see when my tails and dash turn off and hope the problem can be pin pointed there. but i dont know what i should be looking for or what i need to do to fix it.

3. everynow and them i seem to have lag in my boost as soon as i hit the rpms to hit boost (sometimes) it will bog a bit before it follows through. also has a little bouncy idle... again my guess is that I will have to replace my vaccum hoses hopeing it is only a vacum leak. since this does not occur all the time.

4. I have a fith gear grind.. replace syncro.. happy days

5. my bose woofers not working, i think simple replace of the amp.

6. backfires normal in these cars?

i know lol i have problems but hopefully i can fix them all. more than willing to put in the work just need direction and guidance i am already buying my much need recommended mobs. any links to websites that sell rx7 parts would help me

Thanks for helping

http://www.wrex-racing.com/web/fd/info.htm go to bottom. Wiring diagram is there. Start Reading.

With the wiper motor disconnected from the wiper arm can you move the wipers?

thanks, I have been reading the wiring diagram but not sure how it suppose to be read. but i do look over it frequently i plan to start from the front running lights and work my way back. just not sure what i need to be looking for such as a crossed wires and if thats the case how do i uncross and run a wire all the way back to where it needs to go.. man.. rotaries i also read the troubleshooting on electrical issues i might do a couple to see if that works.

as for the wipers no they do not move while the motor is disconnected

Hey, it isnt the rotary engine's fault the wiper wiring isnt working! You'd have the same wiring problem if it was a honda or a bitsumishi...

Find the wiper harness plug on the electrical diagram. Look at the pins inside the connector. Work out what wire each pin is connected to. Then trace each wire in the diagram to see where it comes from. Get a multimeter and test the pins inside the connector and find out whats going on.
Not the rotary's fault

Good luck
