FD going back to DD duty...

Its been over 3 years since it was my Daily Driver but it seems I'm going back to it! I just went over 400 miles on the rebuild and I'm about to start tuning it!

My beater is giving out on me and I'm just not putting any money into it. The damned exhaust pipe rusted all the way through and its louder than the FD!! its headache loud at highway speed!!!! regardless, while I was trying to troubleshoot an issue with the FD I had to endure it...today while jump starting the FD, I found a bit of coolant on the floor. Radiator leaking...so needless to say I'm not putting any money into it. Its been a reliable little car that looked like **** and drove accordingly(shocks are blown and has a weird toe problem when you hit a bump) but for $200.00, over 2 years and 15k hard miles all its cost me has been a few oil changes, a $10 flex pipe to fix the front part of the exhaust and of course gas/insurance...couldnt have asked for more!!!!

Bad timing too, with gas prices being so high and the FD being so DAMN loud and thirsty....I wonder how long it will be till I get pulled over??
Theres so much built up aggression from driving that other deathtrap :P

I was just looking to retire my FD from DD (not that I drive it that much anyways) and getting an FC GTU or a 95+ 240 for a DD. Glad to see you bringing it back out.

why not buy another beater for around $500. it will pay for itself in time for all the gas you will be putting in the fd. plus, if something happens to the fd, you'll be in sore straits. i know its prob the last thing you wanta do right now, since your last dd gave you troubles. but just think about it...
