FD Front Window Repair/Replace

I have 3 small rock chips in the front window of my 93 RX-7. Thankfully, none of them are in my line of vision, and none of them are cracking, just small chips. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with window repair? I see ads all the time, but don't know if it is better to have it repaired, or replace the window. Has anyone had to replace their front window? If so, any idea on the cost and if insurance will cover it? Thanks for your help!

If you have the original window trim, the replacement trim is smaller. If they have to replace it, there will be an exposed line surrounding the windshield.
