It's a dealer selling the car, I'm not suprised.

9.70's @ 30mph in the 1/8th ! Amazing!

I've had pics of that silver car for a LONG time now.

1wide7: Sure he can say it's a 9 second car, it is. He even said his driving skills weren't up to par or something like that. He ran a 10.3, but if you watched his vid his reaction time wasn't so great, correct that along with a few other things...it's easily a 9 sec pass.

Reaction time doesn't affect ET.....

While I will not argue that Lupe's car is not a 9 second car...because it most definitely is...reaction time is not factored into an ET. I could sit at the light for a minute, and then go and my ET would be unchanged. Your time doesn't start until you trip the beam and leave the line. Reaction time is important in heads up racing...ie:the first to the finish line wins, where a faster ET can actually lose with a poor reaction time.

edit:looks like GoodFella beat me to it. lol

On Topic-That silver car looks very nice. Obviously not 440whp, but maybe they are estimating the flywheel power? I'd say 375-380whp is possible, although its more likely around 350.

Yep, you guys are right about the R/T. I may not have technically ran a 9 second pass yet but it will.

The 113 mph 1/8th mile says so

I'll be going back to the track this tuesday so we'll see what happens.
