Question FD Door Side Impact Bar

In my situation, I got side swept by a person turning left , and in the process of getting a new driver's side door. I was amazed that the door didn't even penetrate into the locking mechanism (My door mechanism still worked and everything) Well basically the side impact bar saved my life.

Now my question is, does JDM doors come with side impact bars? I searched and can't find any solid information about it. Thanks

yes they do come with inside-door bars, all the cars from manufacture should have them. its part of the frame structure. in case of side impacts like your case. On fd's its not really a bar in there, it just a thick metal plate going across.

Nice find! So basically it's exactly the same as the USDM doors.
